cPanel MASTER Reseller — what is it?

cPanel is the most advanced and at the same time most popular control panel in the hosting industry (home page here). Like other systems it comes with three administrative levels:
      (a) Server Admin
        —> (b) Reseller
             —> (c) Domain Admin
We now have software build into cPanel that creates an additional fourth level of administration. With a cPanel Master Reseller control panel you will get a cPanel/WHM reseller account that allows you to create and manage standard multi-domain cPanel/WHM reseller accounts yourself. For your customers we will be invisible; even the DNS is kept anonymous through WHOIS privacy protection.

cPanel MASTER Reseller — is it an alternative to a VPS or a dedicated server?

Yes and No.
Advantages: You can use all features of the cPanel hosting system without paying any license fees, not to talk about the cost for the server itself, and you can now even create reseller level WHM hosting accounts. You will not have to worry about any sort of server admin tasks. Furthermore, you and all your customers can enjoy using several valuable 3rd party "add-on" programs we have installed for you (all included with your cPanel Master Reseller): Fantastico Script Installer (50 script), Softaculous Pro Script Installer (250+ scripts), RVskin (cPanel in 24 languages), and even RVSiteBuilder Pro (with about 900 professional Website templates), so you and all your customers can design websites online, from within the cPanel interface—no knowledge of HTML or PHP coding required. Limitations: Same as with standard cPanel/WHM reseller hosting accounts you will not get any root or SSH access. Server resources are shared among all customers/domains.
